![]() Ms. Katherine K. O'Neil, President of KKO, has more than 20 years experience serving the transportation industry. Prior to forming KKO, Ms. O'Neil was Manager of Information Systems for the Boston & Maine Railroad Commuter Service Department and Service Planner for the MBTA. With her extensive training in transportation operations and management information systems, Ms. O'Neil has consulted on the development of many computerized systems. Her knowledge as a computer specialist and her planning expertise plays a key role in the development and completion of transit projects. Since 1994, KKO's Transportation Systems Analysis Group has been led by Mr. David Nelson, formerly Assistant Director of Planning for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Mr. Nelson is now Associate Vice President of Transit Planning with Edwards and Kelcey, Inc. In addition to the senior management team, KKO employs 10 full- and part-time professionals. Each associate is a trained specialist in Transportation Engineering and Information Technology. With the firm's experienced staff, KKO is able to provide transit agencies with high quality services while minimizing costs.
